Attractions in Colorado Springs: Cave Of The
Winds Two different tours

W Chuck Wagon Supper & Western Stage Show Just north of the
Garden of the Gods, the Flying W features an old western town in a magnificent
setting. Winter Steak House, features a sit down dinner with Western
entertainment. Flame grilled steak and trout, BBQ beef brisket, chicken
or pork ribs. Summer Chuckwagon dinners start May 28, call for times

Of The Gods Park This 1,300 plus
acre park with unique red-sandstone formations at the base of Pikes
Peak, offers hiking trails and a visitor center with multimedia show
and interactive exhibits, shops and food. Admission is FREE. Ghost Town Museum
Journey back in
time to an Old West town of the 1800's complete with fully stocked general
store, saloon and victorian home. Enjoy a theater pres- entation of
the boom to bust gold mining period. The Museum Trading Company offers
a huge variety of western gifts and collectables. Self guided tours,

Dwellings Relive the Cliff
Dwelling Indians era from approximately 1100 to 1300 A.D. The museum
has been open to the public since 1907. Explore the dwellings on self
guided tour. North Pole/Santa's
Workshop The spirit of Christmas
lives here every day. Christmas Carols fill the air and elves and story
book characters are busy throughout the village. Have your mail post

Pikes Peak Cog
Railway A railway trip
you will never forget. The highest railroad in the U.S. the Cog Railway
is nine miles long, starting at 6,571 ft. above sea level and climbs
to 14,110 ft . You will see a panorama of breath taking scenery with
views up to 100 miles away. Despite the rugged climb, the Pikes Peak
Cog Railway has a perfect safety record for more than a century. Reservations

in 1893. Drive the 19 mile, worlds highest toll road in the comfort

Figure Skating Museum/Hall of Fame The only institution
of it's kind in the world, devoted exclusively to the preservation of
the history of figure skating. Travel back 1200 years in the Skate Gallery,

A 35 mile river trail system stretches from the lake to the northeastern fringe of the city. City Park features the Zoo and a vintage hand carved carousel. Union Ave. Historic District is restored in great part and features some of Colorado's finest cafes and pubs. Many specialty shops plus the the grand old Pueblo Union Depot. Bridge One of America's

Gunnison, America's newest National Park , near the town of Montrose
is often referred to as Colorado's Grand Canyon. Crested Butte Ski Resort
is in Gunnison County. Hinsdale County
Approximately 97%
of Hinsdale County is public land, open to fishing, hiking, backpacking
and hunting. Lake City is the only town and it is a paradise for nature

Three million acres
of public land plus the town of Craig and the very interesting and educational
Dinosaur National Monument. Mesa
County The worlds largest
flat top mountain is Grand Mesa, the 63 mile Grand Mesa Scenic & Historic
Byway was recently named one of 10 National Scenic Byways. There are
220 stream fed lakes and lush forest on the Mesa, rising 10,000 feet
above the Grand Valley. The valley is abundant with orchards and vineyards,
a recognized focal point of Colorado's rapidly growing wine industry.
The town of Grand Junction with its Museum of Western Colorado's Dinosaur
Valley, sits in the Grand Valley. Fruita is 1 of the 10 best fat tire
biking towns in the U.S. Montezuma
Set between the
mountains and the desert.The 125,000 acre Mesa Verde National Park began
operation in 1972 featuring many archeological sites, mainly Anasazi
sites. Hovenweep National Otero County U.S.Hwy.50 East of Pueblo The
Comanche National Grassland and the historic 1846 fur trading fort,
Bent's Old Fort at La Junta are two outstanding features of this area.
Ouray County
Ouray is located
in the heart of some of the most spectacular scenery and recreational
opportunities in the nation. Hwy. 550 is called the most scenic 70 miles
in Colorado. The abundance of water falls and beautiful scenery make
for some of the greatest 4 wheeling anywhere. Ice climbers from across
the country come to test the falls in the winter. Ridgeway Reservoir
offers boating & fishing. Adjoining counties of San Jaun & San Miguel,
with Telluride, worldclass skiing and wonderful old Western town and
the historic town of Silverton, round out this most beautiful area.
Park County
The South Park
City Museum in Fairplay with 32 original buildings and 60,000 Artifacts
is Colorado's most authentic collection of 19th. century mining history.
There are ten miles of Gold Metal fishing streams and three reservoirs
in Park County. Pitkin County

Pass (summer only), the Maroon Bells, Roaring Fork and Crystal Rivers.
World class shopping and all winter sports in Aspen, Snowmass, and surrounding
