The timeless classic returns for the holidays, with live music at the all-new Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
Cherished by children of all ages, THE NUTCRACKER is based on the book by E.T.A. Hoffman and tells the story of a family in Nuremberg, Germany on Christmas Eve and the nocturnal adventures of their nutcracker.
With new improvements and a special shorter length for kids, Colorado Ballet’s 45th anniversary interpretation of THE NUTCRACKER will feature 35 children, updated costumes and scenery, plus all the magic and wonder that make it an annual tradition not to be missed!
