International Snow Sculpture Championships in Breckenridge. Sixteen
teams from around the world compete in this eye-pleasing event, creating
mammoth works of art from 12-feet-tall, 20-ton blocks of snow. Well-known
artists act as judges for the event, which has brought sculptors from
as far away as Morocco, Belize, Japan, Canada, Scandinavia, Russia,

Annual Topher Mountain Challenge. This fun race is held at the Mary
Jane Ski Area on Rainbow Cut trail. The course will be one continuous
run consisting of a giant slalom on the top half of the trail, turning
into a slalom, and finishing with a bump run and is open to alpine skiers,
telemark skiers, and snowboarders. Proceeds benefit programs for Grand

site for over 125 athletes competing in slalom, giant slalom and downhill

Columbia Crest Cup, regional qualifier draws the most elite disabled
skiers in North America to vie for a position on the United States Disabled
Ski Team. Competitors race in slalom, giant slalom, and two super-G
events in Winter Park. This event is a key qualifier for the U.S. Alpine

Hare Snowshoe Trek. The Eighth Annual snowshoe event in Winter Park,
offers two different courses, one for those who want to enjoy the scenery
and hike, and one for those who want to race their way to the finish
line. Last year the event attracted 430 women. The Wild Hare is a benefit
for the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault. For registration
